Announcements from the Office
Dear Parents,
Kindergarten Round-Up:
Just a reminder, the Parent Orientation Meeting for Kindergarten Round-Up
will be held on Thur., March 14 from 7-8 p.m. in the Kindergarten room.
The incoming kindergarteners will come for Round-Up from 1-3 p.m. on
Fri., March 15. Please call the
school at 624-4144 if you have a child that will be attending Round-Up.
Make sure to
encourage all of your friends and neighbors to come and check out St. Agnes
School!
The
St. Agnes School Classic
Dinner & Dance will be held on Saturday,
April 13,
at 6:00 p.m. The evening
includes a prime rib dinner, dancing, a silent auction, raffle & more.
Tickets are $40 each and they
will be
available in the school office
soon.
The Dakota STEP Testing window will be open from April 1-19.
Students in grades 3-5 will be taking the Dakota STEP tests during
this time frame. Please make
sure your child gets plenty of rest during this time, so they can do their
best. Please try not to make any
appointments during this time.
More information will be sent home closer to testing time.
Preschool Registration:
We are accepting registration for Preschool 2013-2014.
We serve 3-5 year olds. We will
offer 2 days per week (Tue/Thur), 3 days per
week (Mon/Wed/Fri) and 5 days per week (Mon–Fri). Morning preschool sessions
run from 8:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Afternoon preschool runs 12:45 – 3:15 p.m. Red & Gold Childcare will be
available for preschoolers
M-F 7:30 a.m.—5:30 p.m.
Please stop in the office
when you come to school during the school day.
We can deliver messages and items for you.
We try to not interrupt valuable classroom time.
Please remember
to keep your child home if they are sick and to keep them home for 24 hours
after their fever breaks, without medication.
This will help keep others from getting sick.
Hopefully, we are almost through the majority of the illnesses.

The Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in Aberdeen,
will be awarding thirty
$500 scholarships to Catholic School Students.
If you are interested please stop by the office, or e-mail us, and we
can send you the info; they are due Monday, March 18.
Junior Achievement (JA) is paving the way to help students understand the
importance of money-management & education!
Volunteers play a vital role in bring JA to life!
Please extend a special thank you to the volunteers and teachers who
participated in JA this year:
2nd grade-Paul Preister (Bank of the West) and 4th grade-Ric Rasmussen
(Rasmussen Motors).
